The US Supreme Court has rejected former President Donald Trump’s request to keep the record of the Capitol Hill attack secret.
Trump’s request last year not to release congressional committee documents related to the Capitol Hill attack has now been rejected by the US Supreme Court.
In October last year, Donald Trump filed a lawsuit to keep the record of the Capital Assault case secret. Moreover Trump also challenged in court the investigation into a congressional committee investigating the US Capitol Hill attack.
It should be noted that after the defeat of former US President Trump in the election, his supporters had attacked the US Parliament building which he had supported, while after this incident Trump was also facing impeachment motion which was not successful.
